As we head into our last two meets, we want to remind all families that you must be signed up for or have completed the 4 half meet volunteer requirements for your child to be eligible to swim. When signing up for volunteering, please use the PRIMARY ACCOUNT HOLDER’S EMAIL address to ensure proper volunteer credits are added to your parent portal account. THANK YOU to all who have volunteered so far and to many of you that have done more than your fair share to be sure our swim meets run. All of our work, together, makes the summer swim team possible for our children. Your time and commitment are appreciated!
Results are in and the CORA Stingrays won our first home meet! Please see the attached document for individual results.
Our second meet is away at The Federal Club Wednesday, June 22. Relays for this meet are Medley Relays — this means one swimmer will swim one portion of the medley (either a back, breast, fly, or free). The coaches will assign swimmers to the portion of the relay they are best suited for. Information for Meet 1: CORA @ TDC TUESDAY June 14
Check-in for meet one begins at 4:45 pm and ends at 5:30 pm. You MUST check in before 5:30 in order to swim in the meet otherwise the swimmer is scratched from the events. Please see the attached letter from The Dominion Club for parking, arrival, seating, and concessions information. You can also find this letter linked in the “Swim Meets” portion of this website. Let’s get excited for our first real swim meet since 2019!!
- Bring your own chairs to sit in
- baby pool, tennis courts, tented area outside of the tennis courts, golf course, and MAIN
CLUBHOUSE are off-limits during the swim meet.
- Warm-Ups: 5:25-5:45
- In the event of a weather delay, please report to your cars and await text instructions
SIGN UP FOR TUESDAY'S MEET BY FRIDAY 6/10
Tonight is the deadline for Meet 1 sign-ups. You can access this by clicking on the “MEET SIGN UP” tab. Please declare your swimmer by selecting attending or not attending. If attending, you may select up to 3 events and click save. Step by step instructions are attached to this post.
