Meet and Volunteer Sign Up
Meet Sign-Up: Later this week, you will be receiving an email via our Active Swim Manager system to sign up your swimmer for the first meet on June 9 so please check your emails carefully. You should see “GRAL-Chestnut Oaks Recreation Association Swim Team” in the subject line and the email address will come from “noreply@active.com” After the email is sent, you can also access meet sign-up using your parent portal which can be found on our website: www.corastingrays.com. Your child can choose up to 3 individual events to swim and one relay and coaches will give final approval for their choices. *The deadline for Meet 1 entry is Sunday, June 6 at 11:59pm. Your swimmer will not be able to swim in the meet if you have not declared by this deadline. *
Meet Volunteer Sign-Up: Volunteer sign up for Meet 1 can be found on our website www.corastingrays.com by clicking “Volunteer Sign Up.” If you wish to sign up for future meets, you can do this by clicking “Parent Portal” and signing up through that.
We are so excited to begin our 2021 Swim Team Season tomorrow!
Unfavorable pool weather will not stop us from starting our season! On Monday, we will still have practice (on land) so our swimmers can meet our coaches, teammates, and start conditioning while having fun; please be sure your child is wearing sneakers.
TUESDAY, MAY 18, 11 & Older swimmers only will have in-water practice. 10 & under will have another dry practice. All ages will begin practice in the water starting Wednesday, 5/19.On Wednesday (5/19) and Thursday (5/20) we will hold New Swimmer Evaluations just prior to their 4:30 practice (please arrive a few minutes early).
For those who missed our Parent Meeting, we look forward to seeing you tomorrow at 5 pm under the pavilion to review changes and details about our season, as well as answer any questions you might have.
Please remember any child under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult during all practices.
Please remind your child to bring a towel and goggles to practice each day.
The pool opens weekdays to general membership starting June 1 from 2-8 pm; until June 1 no other swimmers are allowed in the pool other than swim team swimmers during their practice time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Feel free to lounge at any available table while you watch your swimmer.
Spirit Night at Gelati Celesti May 12

2021 Team Bathing Suit
Our 2021 team bathing suit is available to try on and order at Disco Sports. It will take 10 days for your order to arrive so be sure to order no later than May 21.
The girl’s suit is $36 and the boy’s suit is $30. Please see the document attached to this announcement for additional pictures. We choose new bathing suits every two years so this suit will be used for this and next summer’s swim team.
